These are the best running compression socks available. They are made in the USA by Performance and are designed specifically for athletes. Using graduated compression they can help to improve blood flow, increase circulation and prevent injury. The increase in circulation also means a decrease in muscle recovery time after heavy workouts.

Graduated compression means that the sock is designed with the most amount of compression at the ankle and gradually decreasing with the least pressure being at the calf. . This compression technology stabilizes muscles to prevent injury and decreases the amount of time necessary for the muscles to recover. The graduated compression in the sock helps to keep the blood flowing upwards from the ankle to the heart. This is a benefit that can help more than just running.

These socks can be used by anyone. Are you a nurse or a production worker that spends all day on their feet? Are you a traveller stuck in a sedentary position on a flight? Do you suffer from plantar fasciitis or edema? The Performance compression sock can help. Everyday use and boosted circulation and blood flow can help with swelling of the feet and ankles. They can also prevent or alleviate tired and aching legs. Give them a try, they really work.

I started using compression stockings for running while training for a  5o mile endurance run. They worked for me during longer training runs by keeping my joints and muscles warm and also decreasing fatigue. The recovery time after a run also became noticeably less. I am an average runner but I like to run at least 5 times a week.  I am a believer in the value of compression socks and sleeves. I know that they decrease leg fatigue during long runs and have helped me to stay injury free. It’s all about the benefits of improved blood flow and circulation.

The comfort of these socks is high because they are moisture wicking and designed with fabric to stay dry and lightweight during the toughest workouts and runs. Compression socks or sleeves can also help to relieve calf cramping with the pain associated with shin splints.

Here is a quick guide for compression sock sizing for the Performance brand:

Men (based on US shoe size):Small sock is a 6-8.5 shoe. Medium size is a 9-10.5 shoe. Large sock is  11-Up shoe size.

Women (based on US shoes size): Small sock is 5.5-9.5 shoe. Medium sock is 10-11.5 shoe. Large Sock is 12-Up shoe.

Summary of the features and benefits of the Performance Running Compression Sock:

This is a great sock for running and athletics but it is also suitable for everyday use for such things as ankle swelling and leg fatigue. They are designed with a graduated compression that helps to increase circulation and blood flow from the ankle to the heart. Improved circulation is beneficial for muscle recovery and many other health benefits.

Compression socks are a great tool for runners, they can relieve shin splints and help to prevent calf cramping. They are also beneficial for hikers, nurses, waiters, travelers, basketball players or anyone wishing to improve their circulation and put a little more glide in their stride.

The Performance compression socks are made in the USA with pride. They are built to last and made with a fabric that is breathable and has moisture management for comfort and odor control. These are an affordable and quality sock that will feel great during a tough workout or just a long day at work.

Got rid of my edema. Love these! Easy to put on and comfortable to wear, and they actually breathe. I have not had any edema once since I began wearing these. I have a job that has me sitting a lot and my ankles would always swell up from lack of movement, these fixed that problem. My legs haven’t felt this good in years. I find walking comfortable again. I would definitely recommend these.

These socks are great I bought these socks because I need compression socks for edema in the legs. These work and feel great! Thicker than standard “dress” socks but not as thick as say standard athletic socks. I tried many different brands and types and these are my favorite by far. These also feel great for basketball or running.

She has worn them during her workouts for the 1st week and is extremely happy with how they support her legs My wife asked me to purchase the compression socks for her. She has worn them during her workouts for the 1st week and is extremely happy with how they support her legs. She works out on the treadmill, walks/runs outside, the elipitical, stair machines and various other machines in the huge LifeTime Fitness Center. The socks support her legs very well during her 1 1/2 to 2 hour workouts. She said they are easy to put on and take off. She has worn compression socks before in the past to support her legs, medical kind, but not in the past six years. She said these are not as tight as the ones she use to wear for leg support. She would highly recommend these for someone who is looking for leg support.
