These are compression pants for runners that are made by ASICS. If you are familiar with running and running products you will , not doubt, be familiar with the ASICS brand. The ASICS Men’s Thermopolis Tights are designed for high performance while delivering on style and comfort as well.

For a high performance running tight that delivers premium features and out-in-front styling, you’ll appreciate these new Thermopolis Tights. Made with an extremely comfortable Thermopolis fabric that has an adjustable drawcord at waist and elastic grips at the ankle to help keep you in high gear.

An added feature is the reflective trim and logos to provide added safety.

ASICS is a brand name that you can trust if you are looking for quality running gear. Compression products in general are used by many athletes and especially runners to help improve performance and to allow muscles to recover quicker.

The way that compression technology works is that the pressure or compression of the garment  is greatest at the lower part of the body and lessens gradually as it goes up. This technology will increase and improve circulation and blood flow.

The health benefits of increased blood flow are many. The blood which carries oxygen and valuable, needed nutrients to all your muscles and systems gets a boost to the heart which pumps all the good stuff around the body. Improved circulation is great for runners, especially after a hard workout, because it helps the muscles to recover quicker. Compression tights may also help to prevent running injuries by warming up the legs and muscles quicker for a workout.

Having the fabric and the added bonus of flatlock stitching in these ASICS running tights will help to prevent chafing and skin irritation during the long runs. The elastic ankle grips and reflective stripes and logo on this quality product add some style and safety. There is also a zippered back pocket which is another handy feature.

If you are a runner that has never tried compression tights, do yourself a favor. Not only can they provide a great base layer for comfort during cold weather running but they can also make your runs more comfortable during hot weather. They are a tool that you will not regret adding to your arsenal of running aids. There is a reason why elite athletes in many sports use compression products. They work!!

You don’t need to be a super athlete to benefit from the use of compression running pants. I am a super slow runner but I also like to go super long. I started using compression tights a few years ago when I was training for a 50 mile endurance race. It took a few minutes to get used to the way that they feel on your legs but after that I noticed comfort benefits in regards to chafing, and also performance benefits with what seemed like a little more glide in my stride. (That’s the scientific term.)

I have also noticed a quicker leg muscle recovery since I started using compression products on really long runs.

If you like to run, it only makes sense to use quality tools and equipment to give you the most enjoyment during workouts.

Quality shoes and Thermopolis Compression Tights from ASICS will keep you safe and comfortable during your runs.

Decent deal, size tall best for those over 6′ 3″ I am 6′ 3″ and 165 lbs with big legs. The medium tall tights fit me well, except that have to roll up the ends an inch, they would work best for someone around 6′ 5″. These are very comfortable, but I would like a zipper on the lower leg to make them easier to put on.

Great fit and performance I’m 6′ and 165lbs. The medium fits perfectly. I’ve run two half marathons in these and they were very comfortable in temperatures between low 20s and high 30s. I didn’t even notice I was wearing them. Nothing was rubbing or chafing. I didn’t wear shorts over these, but there’s no reason you can’t. The pocket is not large enough for a modern smartphone. However, it holds a key, ID, and/or a couple sports gels with no problem. They do have a drawstring to help keep them in place. I’ve never worn running tights in the past, only shorts. I decided to try them this winter, and I’m really glad I did. I’m a convert.
