These Truform model 0868 compression stockings have a medical grade support compression rating of 20 to 30 mmHg. This is a firm strength that is ideal for doing battle with varicose veins and swelling of the legs and ankles.

The graduated compression works by having a higher compression (tightness at the bottom of the stocking that gradually lessons as they move up the leg. This is how a graduated compression product works, it acts like an elevator that manually pushes blood upwards towards the heart. With better blood flow and circulation comes better leg health and many other benefits.

These compression stockings are made with a concealing opaque fabric that is completely latex-free. They have a great classic fit with a durable smooth-knit texture. There is a top band that is lined with silicone dots for an increased grip and to ensure that the stocking remains in place and comfortable all day long. The material is made with 83% nylon and 17% spandex and offers medical grade compression for best results. The open toe design allows freedom and won’t compress your toes. This design also allows for an easy inspection of the extremities and a designed knit in heel makes sure that they won’t wear thin and increases durability and proper fit.

Very tight but gets the job done I bought these for my post-spider vein treatment (sclerotherapy). I am 5’6 and ~130lbs so I bought the medium size with open toe. The open toe is a must. Otherwise your feet feel constricted. The nurse who took care of me during the treatment recommend that I use gloves when putting on my compression hose which was a GREAT trick! I tried putting them on at home before the treatment and they were really hard to grasp but when I use gloves it’s way easier. The hose are very annoying to wear and uncomfortable but you basically have no choose since you have to wear them for a few days post treatment. They’re tight and constricting but at least these fit right and do the job.
