Water retention and swelling in the feet and ankles is a standard by-product of pregnancy. Luckily, Maternity Compression Stockings can provide some relief from swollen ankles and feet.

The ideal companion for mothers before, during and after pregnancy. Compression stockings provide many benefits including prevention and recovery from the varicose and spider veins that can bulge under the skin on your legs. This is due to the extra pressure and weight on the leg and pelvic veins. Mothers in a typical pregnancy will often experience fatigue, cramping and restless legs along with swollen legs and ankles. These stockings can help.

During pregnancy and after, the circulatory system is sometimes overworked and is not able to function as well as needed to pump that blood and get the oxygen and essential nutrients circulating to where they are needed. This is where compression socks come into play. The graduated compression in the sock means that the blood is forced from the ankle upwards and towards the heart. The compression is greatest at the ankle and lessens as the sock moves up the leg. This design acts kind of like an elevator for your blood. It gives your circulatory system a boost allowing the blood to flow up to the heart where it gets pumped through the system.

The use of maternity compression stockings not only assists in carrying the much needed oxygen and nutrients to the organs, but also, due to the increased circulation, they help to prevent blood clots and pooling in the legs and feet. This reduces the chances of varicose and spider vein bulges just under the skin. The swelling due to water retention from poor circulation is also lessened or prevented.

The Maternity Compression Socks are a quality brand. These ones are a 15-21mmHg compression strength which is the ideal medium strength that is usually recommended for use during pregnancy. The medium compression is what is also needed to relieve pain and swelling. Stylewise you can wear them with anything. They have an open toe for comfort and mobility, and are a knee -high length. The nylon material is eco-friendly, breathable, anti-slip and anti-bacterial for odor control. This brand even includes a FREE Compression Sock Aid to help your put it on.

WARNING: Always consult with your physician before using Maternity Compression Stockings, especially during pregnancy. If you encounter any problems, remember that the Maternity Socks come with a 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE to ensure your ultimate satisfaction!

Summary of the features and benefits of the Maternity Compression Stocking

These stockings help to stimulate blood flow by applying pressure to the veins, muscles and arteries inside your feet and legs. The increased pressure helps circulation and prevents the pooling and possible clotting in the leg veins. Improved circulation can also ease the tension, achiness, tingling and fatigue that can occur in the legs.

Stay looking and feeling good during and after pregnancy. Improved blood flow and circulation may help to reduce the risk of developing varicose veins and the knee high design can reduce cramping and swollen feet. Graduated compression technology in the stockings can help to promote a healthy pregnancy by reducing the pain and swelling in the legs, ankles and feet. Because of the improved circulation, more oxygen will enter the bloodstream and provide essential nutrients for you and the baby.

This is a great value and design with a neutral color that will blend with any outfit. The open toe design allows flexibility, and they can be worn with any type of footwear, even sandals. You will have no difficulty putting these on with the compression sock aid that is included.

Great compression! So much easier to get on than … Great compression! So much easier to get on than full length compression stockings. Love the open toe for wearing flip flops and sandals. Definitely trust the size chart – I would have guessed I’m a size small (what I wear in everything else), but my calf measurement was in the large range on the size chart and the large was definitely the way to go. Great customer service too!!I got this product in exchange of my opinion

I swear by compression socks… These Maternity Compression Socks are fantastic during and post-pregnancy to help energize tired, achy legs and to help reduce and prevent swelling BUT they’re not just for pregnant women anymore. Marathon runners have been sporting compression socks for several years now, they allow you to wear shorts, and protect your legs from small scratches, abrasions and nasty things like poison ivy on the trail. Gradient compression delivers a squeezing to the leg that is tightest at the ankle, the amount of squeezing or compression gradually decreases up the leg.
